Margaret Kilgallen

I discovered Margaret Kilgallen in an article in the Guardian in August 2009. I was literally blown over by her sheer talent and style, and saddened by the fact that she has already past away and there will not be any more new work coming from her. But having said that, she will continue to inspire, she has certainly inspired me. I love her simple styles, and the humility in which she carries out her work. Her primary focus is on the hand in the work - imperfection and all. I love how she knows she will never draw a perfectly straight line and it will somehow wavers, but as she said, that is where the beauty lies.
