I would like to recommend a book that will be a wonderful read to anyone who is interested in the arts, or simply in the world generally. It is full of amusing facts and wonderful anecdotes throughout the history about the colours used by the artists throughout the ages, and in various countries. It stretches from ochre used in the Aboriginal paintings, and the whites in the white house to the blues used in the Venetian artist Titian's painting. It is extremely fascinating and informative, and makes me rethink about the historical associations and colours we used in our artworks that we have longed taken for granted.
I hope you will find it an equally rewarding and enjoyable read.
